This Is A Tampon

A recent study done by SLU’s Anne Sebert Kuhlman found that two-thirds of low-income women in St. Louis were unable to afford period products, forcing them to use things like shreds of paper, socks, towels, diapers or even shirts instead. So we launched our campaign on Instagram and partnered with Arch Apparel to raise awareness — flooding the city with a mission to stop period poverty. We expanded past monetary donations from the apparel sales by placing period supply donation boxes in small businesses across the city.
